Day 4: Wednesday, May 22, 2024 Edinburgh - Borders
Region - York, England Say farewell to the rolling hills of Scotland while travelling south through the Borders Region, stopping at Gretna Green, a popular wedding destination. Visit
the archeological site of Vindolanda, an Ancient Roman fortress built along Hadrian’s Wall in the 2nd century to protect Roman Britain from the tribes of Scotland. Arrive in the
medieval city of York, which is surrounded by historical city walls. This evening you may join an optional tour to an alehouse to sample a selection of ciders, lagers and ales and
enjoy a farm-to-table dinner. (B)
Day 5: Thursday, May 23, 2024 York - Chester Enjoy a
leisurely morning to explore York at your own pace. Meander the labyrinth of quaint, narrow streets the locals call Snickelways or maybe visit the city’s famous Minster. End the

London on a tour of the city’s quintessential sights. Begin with a walking tour of Westminster, where you see Big Ben, the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey. Continue to
Buckingham Palace, the official residence of His Majesty The King, and make your way past St Paul’s Cathedral and the Tower of London. Today you may join an optional tour to the
Tower of London, with lunch at a traditional pub. This afternoon is yours to explore this cosmopolitan and dynamic city. This evening, toast the end of a wonderful journey during
