At Woody’s Smokehouse, shop a unique selection of products both tasty and delicious. Hotel accommodations are at Tru by Hilton Galveston, located on Seawall Boulevard overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. St. Joseph Church Choir performs a Christmas Hand Bell concert in the church built in 1859. Kick off Dickens on the Strand in style at the Bishop’s Soiree at the 1892 Bishop’s Palace. Dickens on The Strand, based on 19th-century Victorian London, features parades, non-stop entertainment on four stages, Shopkeeper Skills Village, and roaming characters throughout the festival. Costumed vendors peddle their wares from street stalls and rolling carts laden with holiday food and drink, Victorian-inspired crafts, clothing, jewelry, holiday decorations, and gift items. Our farewell dinner takes place at the Grand Galvez’s Monarch Restaurant. Visit the Messina Hof Estate Vineyard and Winery. 


Day 1: Friday, Dec 6, 2024

We will being our journey with lunch at Woody’s Smokehouse, later that evening we will check into hotel, listen to the St. Joseph’s Choir perform their annual Hand Bell Concert and go to the Soiree with Dickens.

Day 2: Saturday, Dec 7, 2024

Our day begins with a continental breakfast at the hotel, followed by Dickens on the Strand and lunch on your own.  The evening is at the Galvez Hotel for cocktails at The Founder’s Bar and a group dinner.

Day 3: Sunday, Dec 8, 2024

We travel home. The motor coach will take us to Messina Hof Estate Winery, here you can buy lunch or do some wine tasting.  We will depart for home with a break at Collin Street Bakery.  Returning later that evening.


This tour requires a $250 deposit per person. The deposit is nonrefundable.
Reservations will not be confirmed without payment or deposit.
